In 2005, a group of like-minded entrepreneurs banded together to
launch Go Negosyo with the battle cry of helping Filipinos rise above poverty
through entrepreneurship.
Go Negosyo was honored to have Henry Sy, Sr., more fondly called
Tatang, who provided inspiration, insight, his invaluable presence and support
in the early years of Go Negosyo. He was recognized as the Big Brother of
Filipino Entrepreneurs who emulated the winning attitudes needed to be a
successful entrepreneur — hardworking, persevering, humble, and kind.
He was a great mentor to his children as they have each
continued and built upon his enduring legacy. They have inherited his generous
heart as well, initiating numerous programs to help the greater Filipino
community.
Tatang will continue to live on in the hearts of his children
and in the countless lives he has touched and improved forever.
We bid farewell to a great man and an entrepreneur with a heart
of gold.
