Night is a time to rest but during those times Angel and Annable is busy gathering scrap, and other recyclable materials that they can sell. That moment our friendship started. They are younger than me but there irresistible smile and happy disposition in life makes me wonder. Despite poverty they carry that contagious smile. When I have a problem seeing their smile makes me happy. Our friendship, started every night it makes my mantra to teach them. The material that we used are books that they found in the mountain of garbage. I enjoy there company and as our friendship grow deeper there numbers grow also. They invite their neighbours, playmates and cousins to listen to my stories. I always asked them what is their dream, and if they want to stay on that condition forever. I don't hear an answer but as the day goes on I get an answer sharing their dreams to me. Its a privilege to hear those simple yet valuable dreams from these little angels.
One day I stop going to our meeting place because of some challenge that I'm resolving. As I pass by Peter approach me and said "Ate why you are not teaching us any more " I didn't answer him immediately instead I think of a valid answer but I couldn't think that moment. Its a confirmation that these little angels loves education. Given a chance that someone will help them to provide their education they will pursue it. Times pass by and I heard that Peter, Annabel and Angel is back to school. I was so happy when I heard that and even though we are not consistently talking any more I feel happy for them.
As I write this epistle Annabel is already in high school. Hope and pray that her dreams will come true.
Because of that little dreams I compile my dream book Dreams that are started from scratch. Dreams to share for the new leaders and dreamers of this nation.
Being a dreamer of my own I feel bless that even on a little way you can help to empower others to dream higher than their present situation.
And to you my friends I am sharing this dream book a little book to write all your detailed dreams not only for yourself but for others as well. Because I believe that to be successful you have to dream and to achieve it but to be a significant person you must empower others and help them to achieve their dreams.
